Graduating from Greenfield Central High School, the only high school in the Greenfield education system, prepares you for the world at large. Students are required to take a variety of courses in different subjects to acquire their diploma at the end of four years. Each student becomes a miniature expert on sciences, math, literature, language, and social studies. In addition, students must make choices about their individuality to fill out the elective requirements of the high school degree.
Greenfield Central High School offers choices from academic clubs to performing and creative arts to sports, to community involvement and service. Regardless of your interests, as a student at Greenfield Central High School you are bound to find friends in a niche that is just right for you. In addition, Greenfield offers extra curricular activities to create well rounded and involved students.

With fall, winter and spring sports, the Greenfield sports program has a lot to offer. Greenfield Central High School is a member of the Indiana High School Athletics Association. It participates in tournaments and championships state wide, giving its students the ability to expand their thinking beyond the boundaries of Greenfield Township. Students compete with other Hoosiers for titles and the like, giving them a competitive edge whilst teaching the valuable lesson of sportsmanship.
The athletic students at Greenfield Central High School have become an important part of Indianapolis sports culture. The school holds records in over a dozen sports including: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling. These kids are unbeatable.

The values of the school are revealed through their “Character First!” program. Each month, the school picks a different trait to explore with their students through classroom lessons, pep rallies, and other activities. For example, in September they focused on dependability versus inconsistency. They defined this trait as “Fulfilling what I consented to do, even if it means unexpected sacrifice,” and “Doing what I promised.” With a monthly focus on values like this, it is not hard to understand why the students of Greenfield Central High School are valued members of Indianapolis society.
